Do you have an opinion on the benefits and efficacy of cannabidiol (CBD), medical cannabis, and/or cannabis extracts? The Food and Drug Administration is currently requesting public comment until April 23rd! You personally now have an opportunity to tell the government your experiences - please share your story and any evidence you can provide to backup your claims at the link below:

FDA request for comments on CBD and Cannabis medical benefits until April 23rd here: https://www.regulations.gov/document?D=FDA-2018-N-1072-0001

Follow the link above and select “Comment Now” to leave your own message to the FDA about how you disagree with the current law stating cannabis has no accepted medical benefit. If you believe CBD or cannabis has helped you, and you want to help do your part to ensure policy makers hear both sides of the debate – please comment and share your story with the FDA.

This request for public comments by the FDA is actually required by law due to the World Health Organization announcement of a session discussing medical benefits and potential international regulations due to risks involving specific cannabis products. According to regulations.gov, “WHO will convene in a special session to review the following substances: Cannabis plant and resin; extracts and tinctures of cannabis; delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC; stereoisomers of THC; and cannabidiol (CBD)."

The medical benefit, risks, and subsequent legal restrictions of the following will be discussed during the WHO session:

  • Cannabidiol (CBD)
  • Cannabis Plant and Resin
  • Extracts and Tinctures made from Cannabis
  • delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC)
  • THC stereoisomers (molecular variations, such as delta-8-THC) including cannabinol (CBN)

The WHO will hopefully take into consideration these personal accounts during their discussion whether these cannabis substances should be legal or illegal internationally, and the necessary level of regulation depending on the medical benefits and potential risks.

Do you believe CBD and cannabis tinctures (CBD oil) should be classified as Schedule 1 which requires a lack of accepted safety profile, extreme probability of abuse, and NO ACCEPTED MEDICAL BENEFIT? If you disagree - please click on the "Comment Now" button on the upper right on this page and take your opportunity to tell the FDA that cannabidiol and cannabis use has medical benefits and can be used safely.
