Many cancer patients around the United States have started trying cannabinoid therapies to help battle the side effects of chemotherapy such as pain, nausea and insomnia. About 1 in every 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer throughout the course of their life. This makes breast cancer one of the most prevalent health concerns among women in the world. Two years ago, the National Cancer Institute admitted that there was substantial evidence that cannabinoids had a direct effect on killing cancer cells.
