There are many methods for consuming CBD oil such as sublingual application, vaping or taking a capsule. Topical CBD comes in the form of lotions, salves, message oil and even lip balm. Topical CBD is applied directly to the skin. When CBD oil is applied to the skin, it does not enter the blood stream. Instead, it is absorbed by the CB2 receptors found in your skin and then activates the body's endocannabinoid system.
