CBD Infused Dog Treats

Here is another great way to utilize 99% CBD Isolate. This recipe only uses 1/8th of a gram of 99% CBD isolate per batch. But even if you don’t have a scale to measure it out, you can use the whole gram in 8 tablespoons of coconut oil and have plenty left over to make more batches as needed. Later in the week we will feature a cat treat recipe as well, so if you are a multi-pet family, you can make both cat and dog treats from the same gram of 99% CBD Isolate. Ingredients:
2 cups of old-fashioned oats (or whole wheat flour)
1 ripe banana, mashed
¼ cup peanut butter
1 tablespoon 99% CBD Isolate infused coconut oil

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees.

First, you are going to mix 8 tablespoons (you will only use 1 tablespoon for this recipe) of coconut oil with the entire gram of 99% CBD Isolate. Many will heat up the oil at low temperatures using the double boiling method that you can check out at this link!

Add oats to a blender or food processor and pulse until a flour like consistency, set aside. Combine in a medium bowl mashed banana, peanut butter, and infused coconut oil. Stir in flour and knead until moistened.

Turn dough onto a surface lightly dusted with flour. Use your hands and shape dough into a 1/4-inch thick circle. Use small to medium doggie cutter (any cookie cutter will do!), cut out treats and place on a parchment lined cookie sheet or non-stick cookie sheet. Bake until golden, approximately 25-30 minutes. Makes approximately 30 (1-inch) treats or 15 (2-inch) treats.

If you make 30 1-inch treats, each treat will be about 4mg of CBD. For 15 2-inch treats, each treat will be about 8mg of CBD. You could make 240 4mg doggie treats with just 1 gram of 99% CBD Isolate.
