Full Spectrum Capsules Vs. Broad Spectrum Capsules
As research continues to progress when it comes to hemp and cannabis, we find more and more new cannabinoids, their benefits, and how we can use cannabinoids to our best to benefit every single day. There is such a wide variety of cannabinoids found in the hemp plant and we classify them into three different categories. First let’s talk about the three different types of CBD products we offer and how they differ from each other.
CBD Isolate Vs. Broad Spectrum Vs. Full Spectrum and the Entourage Effect
Basically, we provide our Active Oil CBD products in three different varieties. There is CBD Isolate, Broad Spectrum CBD, and Full Spectrum CBD. CBD Isolate means that we have extracted the CBD and only the CBD from the hemp plant, so it does not contain any other naturally occurring cannabinoids or any traces of THC. Broad Spectrum means that we extract all of the naturally occurring cannabinoids found in the hemp plant, except for the trace amounts of THC, so this product is also THC free. Full Spectrum CBD is a full hemp extract of the hemp plant containing all of the naturally occurring cannabinoids as well as trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3%).
There are a few reasons we offer these three different types of CBD. Everyone has different needs and uses for their CBD consumption. Some people need CBD relief without any other cannabinoids in case they may get drug tested or do not care to try the other cannabinoids. Some customers would like to try the benefits of other cannabinoids with CBD without the trace amounts of THC. There are other popular cannabinoids like CBN, CBC, CBG, etc. that have proven great benefits, and those can be found in Broad Spectrum CBD. We also offer Full Spectrum CBD. Full Spectrum contains all of the naturally occurring cannabinoids, including trace amounts of THC (less than 0.3%). We also cannot guarantee that you will pass a drug test using these products, so use at your discretion.
The main reason we offer Broad and Full Spectrum CBD is because it creates what we call the Entourage Effect. When all (or most) of the cannabinoids are working together synergistically, it tends to provide better results for our customers than just CBD Isolate on its own. However, all of our endocannabinoid systems are completely unique and it does take a bit of trial and error to find what works best for you.
This blog will mainly focus on the differences between the Full Spectrum and Broad Spectrum Capsules.
Broad Spectrum Capsules:
Our Broad Spectrum Capsules are made with water soluble CBD, meaning you absorb more of the CBD than you would with an oil based CBD or edible CBD. Active CBD Oil Water Soluble CBD absorbs 4x better and 3x faster than traditional oil based CBD products. Water Soluble CBD mimics the body’s natural digestion and absorption process by encapsulating the CBD molecule. This bypasses the slowest step of absorbing oil based CBD, like our other tinctures. This allows your body to absorb much more of the CBD in a shorter amount of time.
The Broad Spectrum Capsules are a full hemp extract, meaning they contain all of the naturally occurring cannabinoids, but there is no THC. Our customers often share that they have seen wonderful results when it comes to pain, anxiety, stress, sleep issues, appetite, and more. The most beneficial aspect of the Broad Spectrum Capsules is that they are water soluble, so it should hit your blood system much quicker than oil based products.
Our Broad Spectrum Capsules come in two different varieties. We have a 750mg bottle and a 1500mg bottle. The 750mg bottle contains 30 capsules and the 1500mg contains 60 capsules. Each capsule contains 25mg of Broad Spectrum CBD.
Full Spectrum Capsules:
Our Full Spectrum Capsules are a little different than our Broad Spectrum Capsules. The main difference is that they are oil based unlike our Broad Spectrum Capsules which are water soluble. The other difference is that it contains trace amounts of THC (less that 0.3%). The reason we offer these capsules is because they create more of the entourage effect than the Broad Spectrum Capsules, however they do not absorb as effectively as the Broad Spectrum.
These Full Spectrum Capsules come in a 900mg bottle and each capsule is 30mg of Full Spectrum CBD with 30 capsules in the container. This is usually about a months supply if you take it as a part of your daily regimen.
As we've discussed before, everyone's endocannabinoid system is unique, and it usually takes a little trial and error to figure out what product and dosage is best for you. Broad Spectrum and Full Spectrum Capsules may help with many different ailments. We have a lot of customers that use them for pain, anxiety, stress, sleep issues, among many other issues.
In Conclusion:
Are you having issues with anxiety, stress, pain, sleep, etc.? These capsules, whether it be Broad Spectrum or Full Spectrum, may help with these issues. Capsules are an easy way to consume CBD without having to eat a gummy that contains sugar, or a tincture that you don't like the taste of. Everyone is unique and a capsule might be right for you!
