Limitless Lion's Mane

Recently, Active CBD has created a line of nutritional supplements including a Probiotic, Turmeric, Black Seed Oil, Vitamin D3, and Lion’s Mane which is what we will be discussing in this blog. Limitless Lion’s Mane is a supplement that interested me as I previously had heard of its brain health benefits and struggle with short term memory. On the bottle, it states it can help with brain health, mental clarity, and nerve support- but looking further into the supplement shows it may help with even more than that! Almost all mushrooms contain a high number of antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals that can attribute to overall health. The supplement contains Lion’s Mane as the main ingredient, but it also contains four other powerful mushrooms (non-Psychoactive of course) that may help with many other things.

Lion's Mane Mushroom

Each capsule of Limitless Lion’s Mane contains 500 mg of Lion’s Mane Mushroom. Lion’s Mane has been used for thousands of years as a medicine, especially in traditional Chinese medicine. It has recently been shown that the mushroom may contain effective anti-inflammatory, neuroprotective, and immune boosting properties. It has also been shown to possibly improve symptoms of both depression and anxiety. If taken over time, Lion’s Mane may offer some help for certain mental and physical health symptoms.

Chaga Mushroom

The next mushroom contained in the supplement is called the Chaga Mushroom. Each capsule contains 50 mg. Chaga mushroom may also have anti-inflammatory effects, in addition it has been shown to have potential in fighting cancerous cells. In one study chaga was found to reduce the size of tumors by 60%. Lowering cholesterol levels and also lowering blood sugar levels are other potential benefits of taking this mushroom.

Maitake Mushroom

Chaga isn’t the only mushroom with cancer fighting properties contained within Limitless Lion’s Mane. The supplement also contains 50 mg of Maitake mushroom per capsule. Maitake mushrooms have been shown to suppress tumor growth in mice and may help fight cancer within humans. This mushroom may also help control glucose levels in people with type 2 diabetes, reduce cholesterol levels contributing to better heart health, and support your immune system.

Shiitake Mushroom

The fourth mushroom contained within Limitless Lion’s mane is the Shiitake mushroom. Shiitake mushrooms are one of the highest naturally occurring forms of copper. Copper is a mineral that supports many things including healthy blood vessels, bones, and immune system. Shiitake also can help support lowering cholesterol levels and contains a high amount of essential vitamins and minerals. 50 mg of Shiitake is included in each capsule.

Reishi Mushroom

Finally, the last mushroom within the supplement is the Reishi mushroom. Reishi boasts a variety of possible health benefits. It has been used for thousands of years to support the immune system, reduce stress, lessen fatigue, and improve sleep. There are also many other possible benefits from Reishi such as reducing high blood pressure, lowering cholesterol levels, heart health, and even viral infections. As with the other mushrooms beside Lion’s Mane, each capsule contains 50 mg of Reishi.

Conclusion:

I personally began taking Limitless Lion’s Mane a little over a month ago. The recommended dosage is 1-2 capsules once a day. I take one capsule every morning with my breakfast and can say I have noticed a significant improvement with both my short-term memory and overall mental clarity. With an array of possible benefits many people are adding Lion’s Mane to their daily routines and finding great results.
